Have you ever wondered how Scandinavian kids can play outside all year long in very cold weather?

Here's the secret:

In addition to wearing an all-covering next-to-skin merino wool base layer underneath a shell layer (like wind/rain or snow pants), they add a layer in between the base and the shell which is made from a thicker kind of ribbed wool knit. This layer is cozy and soft, but not bulky so it is easy to play with and move like normal.

Made from ultra-soft, sustainable merino wool. We recommend hand washing, with good wool detergent.

Even though Tubes are meant to be worn as a second layer, many kids like to wear them under, over, between layers, or with no layering at all. Sometimes even as a PJ. (Great for camping on a cold night!)
