Have you ever wondered how Scandinavian kids can play outside all year long in very cold weather?

Here's the secret:

In addition to wearing an all-covering next to skin merino wool base layer underneath a shell layer (like wind/rain or snow pants), they add a layer in between the base and the shell which is made from a thicker kind of ribbed wool knit. This layer is cozy and soft, but not bulky so that it is easy to play and move like normal.

Made from ultra soft, organic merino wool, Tubes leggings are machine washable at a cold delicates/wool program, with good wool detergent.

Even though Tubes are meant to be worn as a second layer, many kids like to wear them under, over, between layers, or with no layering at all. Sometimes even as a PJs. (Great for camping on a cold night!)
